Explore Asia CAN Info-Tech 2012



CAN Info-Tech is the largest technological event in IT sector in Nepal. CAN Info-Tech is a forum for latest technological displays to create awareness about IT applications,to promote IT in the country as well as promote Nepali IT sector around the world. CAN has been organizing regular thematic activities to promote IT in Nepal.CAN Info-Tech has been the only Information Technology show and Conference since 1995. The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) is organizing the 18th CAN Info-Tech 2012 from January 26 to January 31 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. CAN has been organizing Info-Tech year annually and it's one of the largest event which showcases the latest ICT products and services.This year's exhibition has been named "Explore Asia CAN Info-Tech"  This year, over 100 companies dealing with hardware sales and maintenance, power solutions, mobile accessories, printing services, telecommunications, internet service and colleges and training school are taking part in the event. Huawei Technologies of China and Ericsson India are some of the foreign companies that will be participating in the event, said Suresh Karna, president of the CAN at a press conference.

Latest Products like Tablet PC, palm-top, Dual-Screen Computers, pocket sized projectors and printers, Dock for Apple Products will be the main attraction of this year's exhibition and in addition to these, there will be showcasing of laptops, cellphones, networking devices, ATM and many more. There will be around 200 stalls in the exhibition, which will provide facilities like 'hardware sales and maintainance'; 'power solutions', 'mobile phone accessories', 'printing services', 'software and solutions' and 'training and college' under different stalls. It is believed that there will be increased number of participants this year and CAN promises to provide information about latest technologies, trends and gadgets flocking around the globe in the exhibition. The entrance fee will be charged Rs.100 and students will be given 50% discount on entrance fee..
