WordWeb
WordWeb is a handy utility for searching definition, synonyms, and antonyms of any given word without requiring you to go online. It's a free utility which is partly based on the WordNet database and is a best alternative among other dictionary softwares. It is a one-click English thesaurus and dictionary that can look up words in almost any program. The program is activated by holding down CTRL and right-clicking on a word. You can also run the program by pressing CTRL+ALT+w key combination.
I have been using free version and what i really like about this utility is its feature to offer one click search and its low memory footprint since this program usually resides in the tray. Additional features include the ability to drill down on any word in a definition, full bookmark support and history.
